Idk what cozy means to you personally, i think the "cozy genre" has taken off but what does cozy means? Stardew valley? A farming simulator where you can take your time farming and forming relationship or the sims? Where you can spend hours making families, challenges and buildings.

Im very very picky with games and I find its the perfect middle of exploring, achievements, and sidequest

U could try Warriors Untold Tales. It's a fan game for the Warrior Cats series, but u don't actually need to know anything about the books to play it. Ur basically just a cat living in the forest. It's a kinda old game tho and I don't think it's very easy to install anymore, but it's fun I recommend it. Maybe nostalgia bias idk but I love this game...... reply

I myself am veryyy new to this stuff too and only started with 'Road to empress' two months back. Since then I have been playing Stardew Valley (I think this one might fit the bill for you) and Tiny Bookshop sometimes, it's pretty chill. reply

besides top 2 cozy games stardew and slime rancher, i'd say astroneer. i think little witch in the woods, palia, fields of mistria, and ooblets might work too. and if you're okay with some sad moments then omori, night in the woods, and oneshot. 1 reply
