Disappointed About SCS

I really struggle to keep reading because the emotional moments feel hollow. like that side plot with the pink-haired guy and the fat guy who were being bullied you can see that the redfuck punch and bullied the shit out of pinkfuck and fatfuck but after that it’s like… nothing. there was no real discussion about why it happened, neither from the pinkfucks side nor from the fatfucks side.
when maru faught this intelligent nachal maru gained a skill that lets him read a person’s memories and emotions, but he couldn’t control it. it was revealed through the skill that maru aquired that the fat guy was actually happy that the pinkfuck was being bullied instead of him. And after that… nothing happened? like huh? there was no guilt, no confrontation, no reflection,nothing. normally, stories would explore that kind of thing.
then in chapter 28 that fat fuck dies, and it shows to have an emotional impact on Maru like he feels guilty that he died on his watch but honestly i didnt feel anything at all. he died okay… and then what? It felt empty. there was no emotional weight. I dont know how to explain it it just felt like there was no substance. and dont even make excuse like oh its shounen action ofc it comes first or type shi.
