Update on Reading List Status
Hey everyone. I’m a fellow user who’s been on the site since 2019, and I had a reading list with over 12,000 entries.
After seeing what some Mangago users were saying about waiting for data restoration, I decided to be patient. For a while, that actually paid off since I got a couple hundred titles back (a mix of rated and unrated).
At some point, though, the restorations stopped entirely. I reached out to the webmaster to ask about the status, and this was their response:
“One of our data disks crashed and we lost part of the user data several days ago. We can only restore manga that were rated or tagged when added to the list.”
So… yeah. That’s basically the situation. Either it’s time to drop the site and touch some grass, or start rebuilding our lists manually because everything else is gone.
WORD OF ADVICE!!!
Make lists for your manga and I don’t mean adding them to your reading list. The lists I’ve made go by genre and with what happened recently none of those lists were wiped just my already read list. These other lists can hold up to 200 manga each so whenever one’s full I usually just add the next number to the end of it. Th...... 1 reply
touched some grass now im slowly adding my reads back (from my tachiyomi). im sad but it is what it is eh. also lowk thankful that i comment A LOT. i can just skim through my comments. time to start making lists and adding tags ig. reply
be positive yall… all the chopped manhwas which u never even bothered to rate, got cleared up from ur list, atleast the community is still alive that’s my biggest loss after bato got nuked 1 reply
yea I figured my list weren't going to be added fully. thankfully I screen recorded most of my lists so I've just been rebuilding them when I don't have anything better to do. reply
