I hate novel commercials
Not sure what you exactly call this, but I've seen some few BLs here where I see a series that is new only for it to be just a commercial for people to read the novel. You'd just be lucky if it does gets adapted but most don't really. No cus they genuinely look so interesting. Like it really seems like a new plot.
Calling it a commercial is close enough haha it’s called a promo usually
But yeah it sucks a lot of promos take years upon years to get actually adapted reply
