I wanted to throw a question out here to the cultured creatures of mangago, do only straight guys like yuri/GL and do mostly women (including women at heart) like yaoi/BL? A woman friend and I was discussing this, the other day and it just piqued my curiousity. dont hate the curious, i just genuinely wanted to know... thx!

Everybody read whatever genre or subgenre they like. I think the main reason why “women likes bl” is because them men are fine (lol), then men open up about their feelings and emotions (something that barely happens in straight stories) and it’s a bit hard to get in the story cus they may draw the girl with different haircut, hair colour, bod...... 1 reply
No lol almost all romance genres is just dominated by women, followed by queer men/people. Come on now, we're in 2026 not in 2010s. Much more straight men are liking yaoi. It isn't rare as back In the days of internet. reply
