I don't read or watch any horror manga or anime, but it definitely is my fave genre when it comes to movies, so here's a list of them instead (excluding classics like the Conjuring,etc lol):

I grew out of my horror movie lover phase a while ago but watching this brought me back on...... This and the substance are both such good movies with an underlying message, as opposed to conventional horror that's mostly jump scares and tense music reply
In terms of enjoyment/feel good, I really liked Coraline, TPN, Soul Eater and 28 days later
In terms of fear tho, Midsommar made me never want to visit Sweden ever and Hereditary made me feel physically sick (both are extremely well done beautiful movies, just simultaneously extremely graphic and picturesque, def don't watch with family) reply
really like E.M. Carroll's comics (His Face All Red was so unsettling).
