My mom. Not in some dramatic, movie-style speech. Just the quiet kind of gratitude that grows the older I get. She carried responsibilities I didn’t even notice when I was younger and still somehow managed to keep things moving for our family. Looking back, a lot of the stability I took for granted was actually her effort.
