as an autistic, do you feel particularly different from others?
i was recently diagnosed with autism but can't relate to any of the main criteria tbh. i think i'm actually a dysfunctional allistic and that's what causes my social issues (i have severe social anxiety and ocd). so i was wondering how different autistic people feel compared to allistic people

To answer your question, I do feel different from the rest of society, even if it is just a little bit.. I've always known that I was autistic(specifically aspergers, but now it's just high-functioning autism), since I was diagnosed from birth, so I knew from the get-go that I was different.
