as an autistic, do you feel particularly different from others?
i was recently diagnosed with autism but can't relate to any of the main criteria tbh. i think i'm actually a dysfunctional allistic and that's what causes my social issues (i have severe social anxiety and ocd). so i was wondering how different autistic people feel compared to allistic people
i was diagnosed with autism later in life (just before i turned 18) and am also AFAB which was part of the reason i was diagnosed so late, so i’ve always felt different than other folks but i was just raised like an allistic person without the coping skills that are needed for my disability. so i didnt even think i was autistic until high school,...... reply
