How do people like Yuri and hate Yaoi? Same with liking Yaoi and hating Yuri as well lol. I'm 100% curious For me they're both peak in their own ways. And honestly first of all they are literally siblings idk why are SOME of the ppl in these two communities r so toxic towards each other idk,, Tbh I absolutely love both of them so much I cherish them with my heart

As much as I'd like to say liking or hating yaoi/yuri is entirely a personal preference, I think its a bit more complex than that.
There's a long history behind both genres. Yaoi was originally crafted by women for women. There's a lot of theories about why, but it generally boils down to a desire for romantic/sexual fiction that wasn't as inhibit...... 1 reply
