Do you guys actually think Jinx readers are bad people?
I just want to know… I feel like you guys think people who read Jinx are absolutely despicable, and I want to know where this sense of moral superiority is coming from. You guys seem to think that people who read Jinx are out there also engaging in the immoral activities depicted in the webcomic. You DO know it’s just a webcomic right? Most people are not so black and white that reading something like Jinx has any influence over their life, whatsoever. You can read Jinx without supporting rape and sexual assault/coercion, hell, at this point of the story you can even enjoy it because readers are being taken on a journey that explains Jaekyoung’s past and explores the meaning behind his actions (this is not me excusing said actions by the way), and are experiencing his redemption (though some might say he’ll never be able to fully pay for what he’s done to Kim Dan) I’m not trying to tell you guys to read Jinx in any way, as I know that what one person likes another might not, but let me ask you this. When you watch a movie with a serial killer in it, does it make you feel like killing? When you watch a movie with sexual assault in it, does it make you want to sexually assault the person closest to you? Like I’m so confused as to why Jinx haters seem to think that the readers are toddlers who can’t regulate themselves.
Wow. That is funny. Literally the whole Korean BL manhwa industry is based on rape and power play manhwas. This is what made them famous. This is what keeps them famous. This is why all Korean authors write this trope. If people dislike Jinx they should dislike at least 1/4 of all Korean BL. One way or another this is selling, people are interested...... 1 reply
