There’s quite a few people I would love to be friends with but I also get really shy in new social interactions. However I’ve noticed approaching people with compliments or even just starting small talk about things we have in common is a pretty easy away to start social connections :) reply

I'm shy too but I try to get better. And my main language isn't English so if I can have friend from other countries, I'm kinda scared that I can't express myself. No one in particular but I made some honorable attempts at connecting with people here.
The thing is, because I don't favor running back and forth on this website, so if and when I ask to maybe connect on discord I run the risk of seeming like (or just straight up being) a creep.
