Kids. How do you feel about them?
I was watching a yt video about the declining birth rates in the US, and now I'm curious. How many of you actually want kids?
I know a HUGE leading factor is that everything is just way too expensive, so if financial issues weren't and play, and you could actually AFFORD to raise a kid, would you want one?
Me personally, I don't plan to be the type of personal who settles for good, so kids are off the table regardless on whether or not I'd be able to give them all they needed money-wise.
Reading this as a new mom myself lolbut I had multiple reason why I didn't want kids back then.
Raped by my own cousin. Ran away from home so I worked as a prostitute when I was 16/17 and beyond to support myself (I stopped only when I met my husband who became my financial backer, yes a sugar daddy is what you kids call them)

I'm ace so actually having a kid is off the table, but I wouldn't mind co-parenting or adopting. I just know that rn I'm not capable of providing for anyone other than myself.

I like taking care of infants and young toddlers, actually. Once they get old enough that they start having opinions n shi everything you do feels like a minefield bc from my experience the second you slip up ts becomes a core memory and then they’re gonna be struggling with the implications of that unproductive behavior for the rest of their lif...... 3 reply
I personally would love to have kids... I plan on being a surrogate later in life (despite the pain and suffering) and I kinda wanna adopt one. Having a kid seems like a great way to learn the process of experiencing life. And I personally love kids so! reply
I think if parents decide to have children then their life belongs to that child now since the kid didn’t choose to live. I see too many cases where parents are just awful and selfish and shouldn’t have had kids to begin with. Personally I could never give up my own ambitions to live for a kid. If I were to have kids, I’d be extremely neglectful(not on purpose but mental issues + horrible memory and my response to stress being avoidance would make me that way) and they’d probably have a horrible childhood bcs of me. I don’t really like kids either so I’m gonna spare both of us the pain and anguish and never have/adopt children. reply
I have to allow it to destroy my body, and then you expect me to take care of it for the next 18-life years? He'll no. Whether by coat hanger or clinic none that try to take root, will have a chance to stay long. Other peoples kids however are fine, cause ya get to send them back. Lol. 1 reply
