It works. It's for activity. Like status or something like that. When you rate a manga, answer a question etc., in the activity section is updated

If you go over your profile you can see a timeline there, if you click it, it shows all your activities to the people following you. If you added a manga/made a comment it'll get added in the timeline section but if you don't want announcing your every move to your oomfs you can just hide it in your activity setting. That's the whole purpose of it ...... 1 reply
