btw i forgot to mention Ghost in the Shell. i mean i don't think any other anime will be quite like Angel's Egg cause it's in its own rank entirely. but Ghost in the Shell (original 1995 not the one with the weird 3D crap) definitely gives you that "wtf is happening," kind of bender vibe. especially that part when they use that choral soundtrack because of the visual clash. i couldn't stop thinking about it after. after you watch it, look up the lyrics meaning and it will also bend your mind with another layer.
