PIERCINGS
I want a belly piercing so bad but I can't mentally prepare myself because I'm getting different answers.
So 2 things.
For the people who have belly piercings: How was it for you? Like the action of getting it pierced, what was the pain on a scale of 1-10 10 being super painful, 1 being "it felt like someone pinched me" Also the soreness...how long did last for you? How long did you take before you went to the beach/pool again (because i heard you can't go for the first week, makes sense) How do you clean yours? Like the SPECIFICS. Do you use just your finger and swish around? Do you just like the soapy water/liquid sit there for a bit? AND How often do you change your jewelry? Does it hurt when you change your jewelry?
For the people who also want a belly piercing: How are you mentally preparing yourself?
I KNOW I KNOW PAIN TEMPORARY SWAG FOREVER, but ughhhh I hate the slightest touch of pain
I have nose and few ear piercings i would recommend doing it in winter and not by gun but like proper tools idk why but piercing heals better in winter for some reason 1 reply
Honestly any type of piercing the pain is so worth it. Like try pinching wherever youre gonna pierce as hard as you can thats what it will feel like! Its a type of pain that you wouldn’t mind doing again :) but also for any piercing id say wait 6 months before putting in any jewelry you want. For a belly piercing though you can clean it with a qt...... 2 reply
Belly piercings was 2/10 for me and I am so sensitive when it comes to pain. But I think it depends on how fast and steady handed the piercer is. Even healing it was great just make sure to dry it after showering so it doesn’t stay wet. I used alcohol wipes and cotton buds with saline spray to clean it and I tried to keep it dry in the shower. 2 reply

Honestly was probably the easiest piercing I got done. BUT make sure to go to a good place and that they have you lie down. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy when I said the piercer did mine while I was standing and he got on his knees to pierce me bc thats not normal apparently (and maybe thats why mine is lowkey crooked but oh well)

I have a belly piercing that I did myself and to be honest it hurt less than my second lobes. The pain was a 0/10 I didn’t even feel it. It might be because I have a high pain tolerance tho. It took 4 months for mines to heal. I hope this helps! 1 reply
