Do y'all think the webtoon format decreases the author artistic freedom?
I feel like the webtoon format is really restrictive and I love when author do something interesting with it but it's obvious the paneling is just low-key boring
Absolutely. Some webtoons that are adapted from novels have to do revisions/cut down on content because of the format, but some artists/authors do the formatting justice.
I think it's more on how they use the panelling in order to execute whatever story they're doing. reply
