How to forget someone?
I still haven't gotten over my ex from 7 years ago, and I involuntarily think about him whenever I have free time.
I often bother him by texting him, constantly checking his LinkedIn profile because he unfollowed me on Instagram. Even when he responds rudely, I find myself texting him during empty moments when nothing is happening in my life, or when I'm very stressed.

I'm going to be blunt. Don't do any of that. It's been 7 years and that point it's harassment than simply "missing" More than a month is already harassment. It's complete disrespectful to him, he won't go back to you. You just have to accept that. Quit cold turkey, it took me six months to get over a guy I talked to for three months which is admittedly very very tame but the key was to block him on everything.
