I don't think people realise that if those 200 people died, it's bad news cause the virus is THAT fatal. Honestly, not saying they should die but they need to be freed if they're negative (not roaming free but quarantine zone for a time being not just on that cruiseship) cus the virus only affects you through a prolonged time. The hantavirus is just like the typhus. Is it mortal? If ignored, yes. Does it have a cure? Certainly.
It's an endemic illness from South America and still not as common to contract it unless you consume dirty stuff or literally get sneezed on by someone infected.
