Asking college students
How many classes do you guys have in college? Am I just lazy for thinking 8 is too many? I have no frame of reference because where I'm from everyone has to take mandatory core classes in college (philosophy, p.e, english, french and 2 electives) and my program is already 5 to 6 related to my field per semester. I dropped some classes so I'm behind my classmates and I'll have to do some over the summer. Lowk stressing me out lol
uhh like per quarter? My university does quarters, 4 per year and you can only take a maximum of 18 credits per quarter. (each quarter is 10 weeks) most of the classes is 5 credits and only some are 3, so most of us only average 3 classes per quarter. So idk about 8 1 reply
I got 8 this semester and the workload is definitely just about manageable for me. It's always better to pass your core classes than to sign up for more than you can handle ... otherwise you might have to redo your exams next semester D: 1 reply
My uni allows 10 courses in total for one academic year. You do 5 courses per semester if you are a full time student. 6/7 if you've proven that you are capable of that many courses. And you can take at least one course per semester for whatever reason.
I've personally done classes in the summer, either because I failed a course or just wanted to ...... 1 reply
