when i was living alone and depressed, one thing i absolutely try and do everytime is if i use a plate or any utensils i immidiately wash it so i dont let it mountain up, usually bugs comes because of food crumbs/from ur stains of food, and also if you cant or dont want to leave ur room which is understandable, try and put a piece of cloth on the o......   reply

I actually managed to clean mine yesterday, but it’s already messy again lol. tbh the only thing that motivates me is when the bugs start showing up or when I hit that 'threshold' where I just feel disgusted. bugs like cockroaches will only be a problem if you keep food around, other bugs that like dust and paper pose less harm, you still can get sick from them though do the bare minimum, aerate your room and let in sun light, wash your bed sheet and you can burn sage or other herbs, even essential oil like citrus and lavender (no pets around), bugs h......   reply

i only really clean my room everytime i change my bedsheets, which is around once a month (or longer). i try my best to hang up every clothes i've worn immediately cus it's one of the things that can easily mess up my room. i'm thankfully have a healthier mindset now so i don't get depressed too much about cleaning my room anymore. though now the b......   reply
