"Girls get raped because of their clothes"
Is what a sister at my Catholic school said. I heard this from a senior and she said that there was a pretty heated debate in her class with the sister because of it. And the thing is that that sister takes my moral science subject. She is an educator in an all girls school but sees women as such low beings.
Just today a girl from my class asked her why sisters can't get married. And she said the stuff about devoting herself to God and God only. But in the middle of it she said started saying stuff about husband and wife relationship and her views about marriage were just misogynistic.
There's an entire website dedicated to SA victims sharing the clothes they were wearing before they were assaulted. Hoodie and sweat pants. Footy pajamas. Work overalls. Ask her next time on why do animals get raped too and infant babies as well. Ask her why do corpses get raped. Reminder it isn't about the clothes of a girl, people look at a naked man as crazy and creepy but all of a sudden when it's a woman, they think it's an invitation to assault her and she can't say none abt that cus there's literally an expe...... reply
That's what happens when you're part of a social bubble. The only answers are "yes" or "no", no middle ground or second perspective are needed since everyone got the same views and your point of view becomes twisted beyond reality.
