if you are talking about first ever exposure to queer media i would say it was a movie from my native state about a trans woman who wants to become a model and our hero, a normal handsome guy. She also has a brother who is transphobic and wants to 'man' her up. There was scene where he ties her up to a tree and beats her up.

I have been re reading a fanfic every 2 months after the first time I read it and cried like a child who got its first beating. And I read it every time knowing that my favourite WILL die. I just reached chp 7 and everytime we get a thought scene i remember that he is going to die at the end and then cry again.
My brother told me to stop reading it but it has became more of a tradition for me than a fun little fanfic reread.
Is what a sister at my Catholic school said. I heard this from a senior and she said that there was a pretty heated debate in her class with the sister because of it. And the thing is that that sister takes my moral science subject. She is an educator in an all girls school but sees women as such low beings.
