i feel like whenever i go through a comment section on a yaoi im reading everyone’s thirsting over the seme’s and there’s only like three people thirsting over the uke
and i lowkey feel like no one acknowledges ukes unless they’re complaining about them or doing something wrong, while semes get all the love
not just u i promise! personally i get annoyed at how many stories are from the uke's pov and they're treated as more of a self-insert character, like that's not what i want to see bae! or when they look like a kid bruh i literally can't with that reply
I don’t really see myself as the seme, but I am almost always attracted to the uke while feeling meh about the seme. One recent exception was Thundercloud Rainstorm… then midway through reading I realized I found the top so attractive because he looks like one of my fav character designs for bottoms lmao reply
