But are strawberries supposed to taste like sour?? Because strawberries are very rare in my country, not impossible but just only few cities has it and the only time u can buy them is thru supermarkets which I honestly think some chemical mixed in them but anyways, why tf does artificial strawberry taste better than real ones or am I just tasting bad strawberries. Tho my friends looks at me weird when I say it's sour because they like it.
They're a bit tangy because they have vitamin c I think? But they're sweet and have a particular fragrance to it. If they're too sour, too hard, or if they have too much white on the top (like, where the leaves are), or if they're not sweet at all, they're usually not good and might have been picked too soon. If they're sort of... purplish red and mushy, they've gone bad.
