the novel was really good.
initially i was waiting for the redemption arc, the chasing seeing how sungbin treat juwon, but eventually i realised that wont happen, because the story explores the depth of characters, sungbin is narcistic, selfish, jealous, insecure and reading the story from his pov made you realise how pathetic he is but how also relatable he is, you could see his raw emotions in display, and his desperation to be loved and how he hurts everyone who tries loving him despite that. the story is more than a satisying chasing arc type.
the juwon being a "pushover" is also very deeply his character, he is a blunt, straightforward guy with zero ego, pride. but his love for sungbin is so raw, he genuinely cant leave him.
