i feel like its 50/50 like when theres a song stuck in my head while reading or if smth im reading reminds me of a song i usually play it but the rest its usually silence but i also like to sometimes take breaks in between reading and watch a youtube video for a few minutes then switch back and forth. i usually do listen to a lot of music in genera...... reply
you betcha. that’s my favourite thing to do. i pick an album to make my soundtrack for the book, so I’ll always have connotations to it afterwards. fx stratosphere by duster and flowers of evil, sometimes I enjoy finding the right fitting sound more than the book itself, bc it changes the reading experience so much reply
Usually no, but I do take some breaks while reading when it reminds me of songs.
Like sometimes I be reading something with action or some deep plot and a song that matches the vibe comes to mind and sometimes I will not be able to read if I don’t listen to it lol it be playing repeat in my head till I listen reply
Hell yes I do! Sometimes I’ll even play a song on repeat while I read an entire book. And every after years I’ll hear the song again and think of the book. Currently listening to ‘T-Shirt & Panties’ by Adina Howard. reply
