Few on my mind rn -When they refer to the couple as "man and wife" in wedding officiating -"bitch" is seen as not that offensive as a swear word -Fathers are rarely ever taught or learn how to do their daughter's hair -Job dress codes having standards for how an employee's makeup and jewelry should look.
Just saw this TikTok and I think this maybe more of a micro-patriarchy thing but the tiktok had a take about girls with names that are considered masculine, or even neutral names (Names like Alex or Max) are socially seen as "cool" or cooler than girls with percieved feminine names. And the complete opposite is the case for men with percieved femin...... reply
