My parents are forcing me to see a therapist again ugh not exited for that. Never helped me in the slightest. They always tried to ask me questions to make me “think deeper” but there isn’t anything deeper to think, and they prolly thought I just didn’t want to share but I genuinely tell the truth and do as much as I can’t but it doesn’......   reply

I tried therapy once, and I didn’t like the experience. After I opened up about my problems and everything, it made me realize how pointless it felt to me because it seemed to revolve around money. It got to the point where the therapist said, Hmm, time is up. We can talk more in your next session and that just didn’t sit right with me. I also ......   reply

Struggled heavily with social anxiety and depression, nowadays I can actually wake up and get through the day without my mind and heartrate going haywire every fking second. Can't recommend both enough, but I understand the difficulties of finding affordability and access. Also need a ......   reply

I’ve had on and off therapy since I was a child it didn’t make much difference until I did intensive trauma therapy. But once your 18 the nhs just drops you so that didn’t help my mental health much   reply

I tried therapy thinking I’d work through things I already knew about myself. I’m pretty self-aware, so I wasn’t trying to figure out what my problems were. I was more like, “okay, I know the issues… now what do I do about them?” But it felt like most of therapy is focused on helping people figure themselves out first. So I kind of felt......   reply
