So I’ve been trying to get a minimum-wage job for MONTHS. Every day I’d wake up and see rejection emails. I have so many of them that even my read list isn’t that big.
Lately, I just said, “I don’t care about jobs anymore. It is what it is.” I’ve been working since I was 17, and I’m 22 now, so this was the first time in my life that I struggled to find a job.
But recently I just stopped giving a fuck about all of it, and SUDDENLY 10 jobs responded to me — even some of the same companies that rejected me before. So I stopped caring, and now everyone wants to hire me? Is this some kind of reverse psychology?
