i hate fictional men with rectangular glasses, they're always some boring character with a long face. if i see a man with rectangular glasses then i immediately drop the story
Self-insert characters. They make me cringe almost every time. Especially when they're the protagonist, the character you're obviously supposed to root for and like. What really gets me is when they're written as a "can do no wrong, everyone loves them" type of person. The best example I can think of is Persephone from Lore Olympus.
