Tbf tho sometimes if you use eyedropper directly it just comes out greyish. Like here for example, I tried to pick the medium tones https://kommodo.ai/i/STyur2a9LX5HC6QYxNRw
Definitely, human skin is made of different shades even just in the face but that's why when you draw you don't just use the darkest grey the best way to make it come across is a dark brown

I feel like I'm fighting the wrong battle here just trynna add something. Ily king, u tell me if I'm being silly. But I guess what I was trynna say was, there are people whose skin tones have verrryyyy little red hue to begin with. Ofc ideally we want to have those different shades apparent in our art. But as an artist with certain deadlines, sometimes, u just sorta pick the mid tone and go with it, even with your light skin characters. As with the image I shared, sometimes those mid tones appear dark brown, sometimes very greyish.

You're not being silly it's normal, honestly artists should just stick to brown instead i know when you're on a dead line you wanna go fast so i think for black people one should have some shades already picked out so it's easier and won't make you seem racist
