Series you had to drop because it was getting too weird/ heading the wrong direction?
I dropped a newish series on webtoon because it's abundant fanservice in the first few chapters was reminiscent of Fire Force. It was giving some red flags.

The day my life changed for the worse. It was an average day, I had just finished a 12 hour shift. I open up this site hoping to find some relief. I look at the updates, I see Scammed and Rammed. I click on it hoping for some tears because the ml js found out the mc was a fraud and using him. I did cry tears but not for the reasons id ho...... 4 reply
