Do you ever read something so good that's niche and it fills you with rage?

i feel like ever so often ill read absolute peak and it'll be something so niche with virtually no fans to the point it makes me actively mad at popular stuff.


i cant read anything by moxiangtongxiu for example bc in my heart i know it'll just piss me tf off that their books got popular. I can never touch heated rivalry bc if i don't like it i wont be able to help myself but actually despise it
(also from what i hear despite taking place thru 2014 heated rivalry does not mention russia literally invading a country as a reason why its russian main character hates them? this show is already set up to pmo but that's a diff story)


but like yh, like is it just me, am i insane? i just want things that are good to be popular so bad
