I remember how sad I was when Miura-sensei died before completing Berserk. I’m still grieving even tho I heard the assistant continue the story. So I think an author dropping their series is fine coz maybe they will pick it back one day, of course id be lonely still.. This has happened to me so many times, I just go into every story with zero expectations of ever getting an ending. Keep your hopes nonexistent and you'll never be disappointed, LOL. The manga industry is punishingly brutal, evidently, and mangakas are a fragile and delicate breed unlikely to make old bones. Or so I've gathered from the many, many ......   reply
