unless you're soaking your chicken in chlorine bleach you're not killing anything that could hurt you with a simple rinse. You're just splashing that shit around your kitchen. Cook it properly to the correct internal temperature, wash your hands, and make sure to clean surfaces and equipment, and you'll be fine.

This has happened to me so many times, I just go into every story with zero expectations of ever getting an ending. Keep your hopes nonexistent and you'll never be disappointed, LOL.
