when do u give someone a silent treatment.....

and how do you like....stop it? i'm bad at keeping boundaries and i usually feel clueless and awkward when i'm giving the silent treatment to someone because i'm highkey a loner and i feel insecure without talking to the only friends i have even tho i'm mad at them
