shitty anime production cycles

I don't know how many people know but I remember when there used to be massive anime concerts for characters songs, openings, etc.

Today, I thought, lemme see if My Hero Academia has any.

None!

There are none!

Then I was like, ok they have to have like character songs, right? Maybe covid just hit them really hard.

NONE.

THERE ARE NONE.

Then I looked into it and (because I only watch things that are completed so I don't really know about cycles and shit) apparently at some point anime stopped making character songs? ??? When did they stop doing that.
