paying for unofficial translation

I know I can't say anything since I'm reading stuff on a pirating site but selling unofficial translation seems so scummy.
I really appreciate the work of translator but to sell those translation and profit off the author's work is kinda... scummy
like making people pay more than 3 dollars for unofficial translation is crazy. I can understand why some author goes insane because of this

also there's more people that does non official translation for profit than for the love of the media, which I found frustrating. I understand people need money but since they sometimes don't care about the story they translating, the translation can be lacking or miss some part of the author intentions. this includes this 3 scanlation group that use ai to translate the works like obviously they don't care about the story they're picking up, it's why they mainly pick up the same trending bls out of countless bls out there.
