You're doing better than the pressure makes it feel, you've got a job and your own place, that's real. Not having a plan at 19 isn't a failure, most people don't figure that out early either. You don't owe anyone a five-year plan on a deadline. It's okay to just be stable for a while.   1 reply

don’t get lost in what others want you to do and what society standards for success are. if you are happy and financially stable, then that’s all that matters. life is long and you’re only 19, most people figure out what they want in their 20s, you’re doing just fine.   reply

Hey similar situation! I dropped out at 16 due to extreme mental health issues, and took odd jobs and various courses until I was 19. I just got my high school equivalency this year at 20 lol. I'm 20, and after hs I spent the first year and half doing a ton of internships in my city for the arts, and environmental/aquatic stuff.
