If you guys had children, would you avoid gender roles/expectations?

ofc i would spare them gender role, it's so horrible i feel like im going crazy whenever someone tries to impose me something based on the gender they assume i have, and im trans so it makes it even worse. gender role is just a bunch of sexist bullshit, i would never torture my kids like that   reply

I push both to where stable money is, unless they have some sort of outstanding talent in some field. if I can afford my kid getting a degree in yaoiology, then I won't care. I feel like there is some importance to "pursue your dreams!" but also "you need to eat!!!" is also important. One part of parenting is also making sure they can earn food o......   reply

I’d probably adhere. I think in most ways people are still flexible, there’s never really an isolation of “girly” to “male” things bc they interact often.
