So in BL, there's a fair amount of stories that have a character starting off as a top, they topped in all their previous relationships or hook ups but then when getting involved with the other main lead they bottom for them, but has anyone read the opposite of this? Something that I've come to realize is, I can't just like or trust people for having read lots of stories, even across different genres. Like I can't just trust them whenever they open their mouths in discussions about stories. I like the comedic relief, goofy, unassuming character that actually is or becomes one of the strongest in the story verse. I think it's so fun and cool when that happens. It's made me admire Japanese, Chinese, Korean cultures, and want to know more about those countries, I also now want to learn Chinese, so I can read all the danmeis and watch many BL donghuas and just be able to understand and speak the language.
