i started reading orv manhwa for the first time (on chp 18 rn) and kdj character design looks straight up like sung jinwoo's from sl and i hate it so much.
as someone whose read both solo levelling and orv (in my opinion) orv is so much more interesting, the plot is really good and all the characters are really well written, plus if you don't like kdj looking like sung jinwoo, then you will be pleased to know that he looks less and less like him as you keep reading. but if u really hate it then you can always read the actual novel, so that all you'll see are words and character descriptions, that way you can imagine kdj however you like
He’s definitely growing on me. Honestly, I wasn’t really comparing SL to ORV, because SL isn’t anywhere near as good—ORV’s plot (from what I’ve heard) has much more depth than SL’s. I’m glad to know that KDJ’s character design changes!
the character design changes dramatically later on as you read (around chpt 50ish?), you could stay for the plot if you like. There would be the formation of a very wholesome team as well as good action and art. Try staying if you want, it's a very nice manhwa (and novel). The plot is very different compared to solo leveling, which is also a very good piece of work :))
Yep, I've heard a lot about the hype surrounding this manhwa. As I keep reading, KDJ is starting to grow on me a little, and I'm really enjoying the plot.
