Your favorite take on a trope vs your least favorite take on a trope?
It can be a relationship, just a character or whatever. For me the first thing that comes to mind are Jangsan Tiger vs The Summer Hikaru Died, the same trope handled very differently

Younger top x older bottom is a trope that can very easily go to shit. I think 1. Melting Point and 2. Sour or Astringent do it right for two different reasons
1. Knew each other as children, small age gap
2. Didn't know each other until both were adults, bigger age gap

Jealousy, defensiveness and competition between female characters. Done right, then it could be a healthy character growth and a start of a constructive relationship between them. Done otherwise, then it’s likely glorifying the reason for which the crash started in the first place, and it makes me sad thinking what it could have been. reply
