Privacy
What do you all think about privacy in romantic relationships? I’m talking about privacy that includes financially, digitally, and in terms of asking what your partner is doing, where they’re going, etc. Does your partner really need to know everything, or is it okay to keep some things private while being in a relationship?
Also I’ve seen some compilations on TikTok before ( i abounded tiktok for long time now cause i can’t handle the bullshit) like that trend where someone reaches for their partner’s phone and the partner immediately gets startled and pulls it away, instead of taking the food or whatever is in front of them. Or when someone just takes their partner’s phone and walks away with it.
Some say that since you live together you cannot have secrets or privacy cause that mean you don’t trust eachother.
So, what do you think? Should you still have some privacy when you’re sharing your life with someone, or should some or even all of it be revealed to your partner?
I’m curious to hear your thoughts about it (=・ω・=)
I mean i tend to overshare, like coming home and telling you abt everything abt my day like kids do in kindergarten lol. And I do *assumed* the other person will do the same to the level theyre comfortable with

Ehhh idkk like i think if you love each other then first you have to be close friends and then move into romantic as well as sexual interest. Looking at it that way, I'm not sure what you'd even have to hide from your partner, who's also your good friend, but it's true that you shouldn't snoop through their phone without permission just like you wo...... reply
I'd say if it's married life and with children. Financially you shouldn't keep it private. Otherwise dating? Nah a lot of things should be fine kept private. I've been in relationship where once I had let my partner have every account I had, which didn't end well cause some private convos like argument he butted himself into and it led to some of m...... reply
Dating it’s fine (in fact probably better) to keep stuff more private esp financial or government stuff (do NOT share passwords of this stuff basically ever) but marriage should be far more open imo
I still wouldn’t let my partner walk away or scroll Willy nilly with my phone tho (married or not) bc while I have consented to being open with my...... reply
you shouldn't lose your privacy because then you are going to lose yourself and then you lose your spark and joy and also become not interesting in bed bc the other person is gonna feel like they are jerking off instead of having sex with an actual person. all because you became a part of them.
maybe that's why so many married ppl become boring. t...... reply
