Tell me the name of a good novel you've read, but the webtoon disappointed you.
I read " trash of the count's family" , " things that deserve to die " and " turning " novels, but when i read their manhwa it was disappointing, in turning and trash of the count's family, a lot of important scenes were skipped, The battles looked very bad and short , Also, the characters' expressions are never the same; cale makes a lot of stupid .faces all the time, while the novel describes him as having calm expressions, and his inner thoughts in the novel are spoken aloud in the manhwa , in the novel cale wears the simplest clothes unlike or cale who overdress , and it's very important detail about kim rock soo's personality . Same thing for yuder , in the novel they say that he has a calm expression but in the manhwa he doesn't, also yuder thinks a lot and in a romantic way sometimes but there's nothing like this in the manhwa, he lacks to character, and let's not talk about things that deserve to die and these unessesery panels. Anyway i understand that the artists are doing their best, i know that being an artist is hard , and i think their art is good, but they really need to read the novel, and understand it, it's not about art
"The national school prince is a girl", the novel was nice. MC was said to be this hunk that girls would swoon over to but the adaptation made her really look like a girl w/ short hair & boy clothes. Maybe it's just the artstyle, it just doesn't fit the novel MC's vibe. There was also a lot of tension between the MC & ml in the novel but it wasn't ...... reply
I started reading An Insincere Idol’s Blank Slate novel bc I enjoyed the manhwa and the manhwa literally skips entire arcs?? There is so much stuff glossed over or just entirely removed and I don't understand why reply
Nothing that comes to mind except of two titles: The first commandment and Surviving in the broken world.
I disliked a lot heavy angst and love rivalry (except if it doesn't much portion) but I managed to finish the first commandment despite it has elements I hated and end up becoming one of my most fave novel, is the testament of how much enjoyabl...... 1 reply
Not a novel -> manga/manwha/manhua adaption but an anime adaption.
Yes, No, or Maybe, is a pretty solid BL JP novel light read (as in read almost half the book 4hours in a plane flight then forced myself to stop cause I didn't want to finish on the plane).
Then after I finished the book, and really liked it, I found crunchyroll had the movie adap...... reply
The manhwa adaptation of Is It Okay That the Main Character's a Roleplayer? doesn't have that many chapters yet, but umm I'm hoping the art will get better no offense to the artist, and I'm really happy it got an adaptation, but the novel has incredible fight scenes and the manhwa...definitely doesn't do them justice. I also wish the manhwa showed...... reply
There is this phenomenal Korean novel that I recently read it's , "Things that deserve to die" . I haven't read the manhwa properly but the art really disappointed me ☹️. It's not because the art is bad . It's because the art doesn't fit how characters are defined in the novel . If I have to say bluntly, Author just choose the artist whose wor...... 2 reply
