i keep on getting anxious for no reason and even if there is a very small issue i make it as if i m standing infront of a hige mountain this makes me so anxious that i feel like crying. I think my mental health is not quite right
You are overstimulated. When people aren't able to process their emotions due to some type of obstruction (could be a tight schedule that doesn't leave time to process emotions as it takes its own time and one cannot rush it, or it could be lack of trustworthy, supportive companions/supportive environment which makes it difficult for you to express your needs, or it could be rooted in a medical issue) , they become so inundated with unresolved and repressed emotions, that any problem, even if small and otherwise resolvable, is perceived as too big and heavy. It is a very common human experience since our society is built to rush emotions so as to 'contribute to a capitalist and consumerist society', what you are experiencing is at its very root, a response to life that the current system doesn't respect. It doesn't leave the scope to process one's feelings and express ones emotions, and it's built like that very mindfully.
You can either see a mental health professional, or of you can't manage that, find a confidante to talk to, someone who would just listen you without judgment. All the best.
No it's not your overthinking. Your overthinking is a result of unresolved emotions and repression. Think of it like this. If a box is already full of sand, would you be able to put more sand into it? No. It will overflow and become unmanageable. Same with your mind. If it's too full of unresolved emotions, it won't be able to have the capacity to generate any energy to deal with future problems. We all have certain mental capacities that are the results of our environments and our own mental makeup, however most of it is conditional. But the good thing is capacities can be built and expanded. :) You just need the right direction and some help. Never be fearful to ask for help, everyone, literally everyone needs it. It's your birthright. I would suggest you look into neuroplasticity and somatic exercises, write in your journal just some stuff you can do on your own. But also very important to find a confidante to talk to. Ask for someone on this site, and I am sure many people will volunteer. Don't worry, everything will be alright. It's only a phase and phases change, that's the nature of phases.
