I’m a cis girl who is a huge fujoshi and i love reading the comments on each yaoi i read bc i like the conversations and jokes that can be made amongst people like myself, but i find that in a lot of yaois with female side characters who are portrayed as villains weird me out. Maybe im that one friend that too woke, but i really hate seeing girl characters be villainized in yaoi, especially bc i feel like a lot of yaoi is written by other women. I also get really upset with the comments on some yaois bc users are not afraid to call these FICTIONAL women bitches and whores and give them death threats. I know it’s really not that deep but it really does bother me, especially when the girl is like a high schooler like yall need to chill LOL… but anyways, anyone else feel this way?
in my case, I've mostly seen other male characters being a third wheel or villain in the stories, the little tines I've seen girls... they're really psychos, I'm talking about giving the mc away to sec traffickers, attempting murder, torture, gang rape, etc. Like, those are really lowlife dogs, not a bitch because a bitch could be a very fine dog a...... 1 reply
Well I sometimes call them names but I also does the same thing with men. If they’re evil they’re evil regardless of their gender lol sorry.

I think as a rule, never read comments on anything. But woman are written so shittilly in bl. Like you either find their character annoying because they're just there to force conflict and draw it out and are complete cardboard cutouts or you feel bad for them because the author is taking time away from the actual draw (our beautiful blushing boys)...... reply
They can call them names if the characters deserve to be called that, not just for existing. But the problem is, they also need to name men the SAME way if they do the same thing.
