your best friend is clip art studio they have 3d models so you can practice and tracing and using references isn't cheating do what you can and just study more anatomy remember it does NOT have to be perfect just believe in yourself there are no rules in art. i mean my advice that worked for me was just ditching youtube, tiktok, instagram ect and just looking at academic anatomy books, either art based ones or even scientific and medical ones, just going over them page by page, copying the sketches/images and after every couple of chapters come back and combine them individually or applying to another r......   1 reply

What do you mean copy references? Like tracing? Or just using reference to guide? If the latter, then every body does that? I use reference for everything. You can get pretty far on vibes, honestly. If animation is your aim, why not start with that? Look up animation tutorials on YouTube, especially stuff about exercises for animators, basic skills for animators, etc. learn to move something across the page as a motivator.
