What do you mean copy references? Like tracing? Or just using reference to guide?
If the latter, then every body does that? I use reference for everything. If I can't find online, then I pose and take picture of myself. So....people don't just pull a difficult pose out of their booty hole. Lol. References are an artist's best friend!
